CRAWFISH PARTY

Thousands of pounds of crawfish and seafood.  A live musical performance from a quintessential zydeco artist, Buckwheat Zydeco. And zero cost to attend. Well, hello, Heads-N-Tails Crawfish Boil. The boiled crawfish at this annual Von Braun Center event starts at $10 a pound. Other food items to be offered include blue crab claws, oysters, fried flounder, “Cajun Chicken on a Stick,” red beans and rice and jambalaya.

Glenn D. Lowry is just the sixth director of The Museum of Modern Art. Lowry will be making his first ever visit to Huntsville, to speak as part of Huntsville Museum of Art's "Voices of Our Times" series.  In an interview with AL.com reporter Lee Roop, Lowry said he would use MOMA in his talk "as a kind of springboard to thinking about the way we look at art today and how that has changed over time."

ROOTS MUSIC REVIVAL

Margo Price, fresh off performing on “Saturday Night Live,” opens this deluxe double bill. Price is the first country artist inked to rocker Jack White’s Third Man Records label and her debut album “Midwest Farmer’s Daughter” is drawing rave reviews. The concert’s headliner Old Crow Medicine Show is one of the most respected institutions in Americana music, having won multiple Grammys and sold more than a million copies of the now ubiquitous bar-band cover favorite, “Wagon Wheel.”
